We are enjoying our 1st whirlwind tour day here in the Holy Land. Here are some shots of our 1st night together and one the road. Caesarea by the sea, Megiddo, Mt Carmel.

Arrived safely at the Tel Aviv airport. Security was very easy all around. Dallas, Philadelphia, Israel... the lines were not long and we breezed right through.
Addison, Mandy, and I jumped on our bus and drove to the city with other staff members. Once we took our showers, we went with a few friends to Joffa. The weather was perfect.
I'm up in the middle of the night (as always) trying to get my internal clock right.

On our way to Israel, we had a great layover in the city of brotherly love. Saw a lot of historical sites and of course eat a Philly Cheese Steak and ran the Rocky Steps.
Headed with IFL and Chuck Swindoll to the Holy Land next.

Headed to the volunteer state with Wayne to the National Religious Broadcasters convention.
Headed to the Grand Ole Opry tonight and chill'n at the Gaylord. When I say "chill'n" I mean ... meeting after meeting after meeting. Then having "someone" wake me up at 4:00 am.
Saw Ricky Skaggs a few times. Sat by June Hunt. Talked with many dear friends and had a GREAT and productive time.

Mediterranean Cruise 2011
Mandy and I had the pleasure of traveling with my coworkers and friends from Insight for Living to the Mediterranean.
Stops along the way: Venice, Split, Athens, Ephesus, Istanbul, Santorini
Day One Oberammergau, Germany
Got to the hotel very late. Had an unbelievable room with two stories, two balconies, and we were "too" tired to enjoy it all. :)
After about 6 hours sleep, we got back on the bus and headed 30 minutes away to the little Bavarian village that puts on a major Passion Play once every 10 years since 1634.
It was drizzling 90% of the day but we still manged to shop during our free time.
The Passion Play (See Website) was awesome and much better than I could imagine a town of 5,000 pulling off. Everyone in the play are "normal" people from the village, around 2,000 are involved. Great production, music, and singing. We left very impressed.
Day One Frankfurt, Germany
Spent the day on the way (in Eisenach) visiting Bach's home/museum, St. George's church, and a castle Luther hide out in.

Day Three Leipzig, Germany
Today we went to our favorite city (so far), Wittenburg. Luther lived here with his wife and he nailed his 95 Thesis to the door of the chapel/school/castle.

Went to Erfurt today where Luther went to University and where he lived as a monk in an Augustinian Monastery. (below)
Ordered Pepperoni Pizza and got pizza with peppers all over it. Still was good.
There is a cool bridge in town "Kramer Bridge." It is the oldest inhabited bridge in Europe. Here are images from the bridge and under it.
