Well, every day can't be perfect. Some bad luck today. We started the day off with a 2 hour ride of Seadoos, but choppy seas, clouds, wind, a thunderstorm, and a constant beeping warning light made the experience less than awesome. But hanging out as a family and seeing a few dolphins still made the time worth while. (Plus we got to see three girl flip their Seadoo) :)
We then headed to the beach but a LOT off moss came in and the sea was a green soup. As we sat on the beach waiting for it to go away a strong thunderstorm came in. So after a nap and a quick trip to the surf shop, we made it back to the beach at sunset.
Been a great trip. Can't wait till next year!
Destin Day Four
Destin Day Three
We took a late evening walk on the beach and played our new favorite game "beach paddles." Zander and my new record is "58." Mom is still learning how to play. :)
Mexican seafood closed out the night... kids wanted to go home and sleep more than eat...The sand and sun is wearing them out.

Destin Florida Day One
Last minute oppertunity to get away with the family this Summer... Even though it's the first day of Summer break. ;)
We went on the same trip for 8 days this exact same week last year. We had a blast. This year we will just be on the beach for three full days. Plans: beach, Dewey Destins for lunch, ride Seadoos with the Dolphins, cook chicken and corn on the grill behind the cabana, and find favorite BBQ sauce at local store.
The party has already started in the car!!!

We are playing out favorite car game... This year it is Zander and I verses everyone else. Points when you spot:

Israel Day 11 2010
Israel Day 10 2010
Israel Day 9 2010
Traveled to the Dead Sea area today to view Masada, the Dead Sea Scroll area, En Gedi, and to swim in the sea. It was oily and saltly... but it was NOT hot. The desert was only 75 degrees today. Awesome. We walked up to the highest spring and saw where David and his men hid from Saul. Great place.
We also saw where almost 1,000 Jews killed themselves to keep from death or slavery from the Romans almost 2,000 years ago.
Israel Day 8 2010
Israel Day 6 2010
What an amazing day today. Started out of the Sea of Galilee on a boat, headed to the ancient city of Beth Shan (City that hung King Saul's body on its wall), drove by Jericho, stopped at a military zone to visit the site of Israelites entering the Promise Land and Jesus' baptism... then entered the Holy City of Jerusalem at sundown.
Right after a quick dinner, we walked through the Western Wall tunnels then now... to bed! What a LONG day!
